The dream came true after almost 10 years - a bike trip with friends to the mountains.
Adventure route - Bengaluru - Ahmedabad - Delhi - Manali - Leh - Ladakh - Leh - Bengaluru!
What an amazing journey on Royal Enfield!
Some journeys are planned… but a few turn into unforgettable life experiences. This Ladakh trip was one of them - filled with friendship, adventure, mountains, and memories that will last forever.
Bengaluru to Ahmedabad
The journey started with a flight from Bengaluru to Ahmedabad - my hometown. Meeting my childhood friends after a long time made this trip even more special. It was the perfect emotional beginning to an epic adventure.
Ahmedabad to Delhi
From Ahmedabad, we traveled to Delhi by train. This leg was full of nostalgia - endless conversations, laughter, and reliving old memories. The joy of traveling with childhood friends made every moment memorable.
Delhi to Manali
Next day, we took a bus to Manali - the gateway to the Himalayas. As we moved higher, the view changed drastically with winding roads, cool breeze, and rivers flowing alongside.
Manali to Leh – The Real Adventure
From Manali, we rented Royal Enfield bikes and began the most thrilling part of the journey.
We covered breathtaking and challenging routes through Jispa, Sarchu, and high mountain passes. The ride tested us with rough roads, freezing temperatures, and low oxygen levels - but every moment was worth it.
Sarchu Stay
Camping at Sarchu was magical. Cold nights, star-filled skies, and absolute silence made it a surreal experience - one of the most peaceful moments of the entire trip.
Leh & Ladakh
Reaching Leh was a proud moment, but the adventure continued further into Ladakh.
Nubra Valley
Nubra Valley was one of the highlights - a cold desert with sand dunes surrounded by mountains. The ride through Khardung La to reach Nubra was both thrilling and unforgettable.
Pangong Lake
Pangong Lake was truly magical. Staying overnight in a tent near the lake added a different level of experience.
- Crystal clear water changing colors
- Freezing cold nights
- Absolute peace and silence
Waking up to that view was beyond words.
Leh
After completing the Ladakh circuit, we returned to Leh and dropped the bikes. It felt like saying goodbye to a companion that had been part of every challenge and every breathtaking moment.
Royal Enfield Experience
The Royal Enfield proved to be the perfect partner for this journey - strong, reliable, and built for the mountains.
Final Thoughts
This journey was about more than just traveling:

From Ahmedabad memories to Nubra Valley landscapes and Pangong nights in tents - everything about this journey was unforgettable.
